Vegan Bali: My Honest Review of Kynd Bali

It's a perfect place for those looking to venture into the vegan lifestyle but are concerned about missing out on flavors and ingredient choices in vegan cuisine.

On my recent visit, I tried their Creamy Tan Tan Ramen dish priced at around IDR 90.000 with creamy japanese broth, ramen noodles, 'pork' mince, bok choy, wakame, bean sprouts, enoki, corn, springonion, toasted sesame which turned out to be quite generous in portion size. My sister ordered the Vietnamese Pho (at the same price with mine) with authentic vietnamese broth, slow cooked "beef", rice noodles, bean sprouts, snow peas, bok choy, tofu, marinated shiitakes, asian herbs, chives & chilli, which was equally satisfying in portion. The prices might seem a bit higher, but the portions definitely make it worthwhile. Honestly, we both struggled to finish our orders; even though we were eating leisurely, the servings seemed never-ending! Hahaha. Another plus point is that since everything on their menu is vegan, you can rest assured that there are no pork-based products, including oil and meat. For Muslim travelers, Kynd can be a great reference for your Bali vacation itinerary.

Despite offering a fully vegan menu, the creative kitchen team at Kynd manages to make their dishes equally delicious and satisfying as their non-vegan counterparts that typically include meat. It's a perfect place for those looking to venture into the vegan lifestyle but are concerned about missing out on flavors and ingredient choices in vegan cuisine. Additionally, you have the option to purchase their menu book, showcasing Kynd's ingenuity in making vegan food fun and appealing to everyone.
